Cherry Crest Math Olympiad Club Assessment and Parent Info Meeting

Who: Cherry Crest 3 rd , 4 th & 5 th graders & Parents, must attend in order to participate
When: Tuesday, Oct 1st
Time: 2:30 p.m.- 4 p.m.
Where: Cherry Crest Gym
Cherry Crest Math Olympiad Club is for students who are interested in Math Competitions which cover
advanced math topics for 4 th and 5 th graders. The focus will be on preparing kids for math competitions around the State, and developing advanced problem solving skills. The topics will include geometry, algebra, probability, rates/ratios/proportions, counting problems, logics, and number theory.
This program is supported by Cherry Crest parents and will accommodate up to 20 students/per class
due to space availability for in-class sessions. It is open to all Cherry Crest 3rd , 4th and 5th graders.

Join – National Public Lands Day

Connecting to Nature through Service. Bridle Trails Park Foundation invites the community to National Public Lands Day.

Date: Saturday, September 28th, 9 AM – 12 PM
Location: Bridle Trails State Park – Main Entrance: 5300 116th Ave NE, Kirkland

  • Volunteers of all ages welcome.
  • Stewardship projects will include the removal of invasive plants and weeds, trail tidying and trimming, and horse arena maintenance.
  • The Foundation will provide water, snacks, and lunch for all participants.

Camp Kindness Counts – Family Service Event

Camp Kindness Counts is a non-profit organization. At Camp Kindness Counts we believe in the power of kindness and the power that kids and families have to create happier and stronger communities. We provide opportunities for youth of all ages and families to build on their character strengths such as compassion, resilience, forgiveness, and collaboration and many more all while making a difference in our communities through community service and social action.  
Once a month we have FREE family service event that focuses on character strengths. We wanted to extend the flyer and invite to everyone in Cherry Crest!  
For the month of September we are partnering with Pasado Safe Haven to help care for animals in the sanctuary. For the month of October we are have a free event with a guest speaker talking about kindness towards ourselves!

Cub Scouts Pack Meeting

All boys and girls in grades K – 5 are invited to join the Cub Scouts!  Go camping, learn first aid and launch a model rocket!  Join us at our first meeting on Tuesday September 17th from 6:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. in the Cherry Crest Cafe to learn more while your child enjoys the Cub Scout carnival!
